Genesis Biopartner participated in the conference “Circular Economy in Practice: Responsibility, Innovation, and the Future,” held in Craiova, an event dedicated to developing sustainable solutions for waste management at the regional level.
During the conference, Horia Matei Bărdeanu, CEO of Genesis Biopartner, delivered a presentation focused on the role of partnerships between public authorities and the private sector in building an efficient environmental infrastructure.
The central message was clear: the circular economy is not a theoretical concept, but a functional model based on collaboration, responsibility, and concrete implementation.
Through partnerships with municipalities and inter-municipal development associations (ADI), municipal waste can be transformed into valuable resources, such as renewable energy and organic fertilizer, with a direct impact on communities.
Moving from discussions to practical application, participants had the opportunity to continue the experience in the field during a technical visit to the Genesis Biopartner biogas plant in Almăj. Here, the circular economy model can be observed in action, from the collection of biowaste to its transformation into green energy and useful resources for agriculture.
The visit highlighted the importance of collaboration between local authorities, partners, and private operators for the development of sustainable solutions applicable at the regional level.
