Genesis Biopartner participated in the Circular Economy Action Days held in Brussels as part of a delegation coordinated by the Circular Economy Coalition.

Horia Matei Bărdeanu, General Manager of Genesis Biopartner, represented the biogas sector at working meetings organized at the European Parliament, at the invitation of Vice President Nicu Ștefănuță.

Discussions focused on the main legislative and strategic directions that will shape the circular economy at the European level, including the development of the Circular Economy Act, the definition of End-of-Waste criteria, and the implementation of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation.

Participation in these dialogues highlighted the essential role of organic waste recovery in the transition to a functional and efficient circular economy.
