Biogas Plant Automation Engineer

General role:

Ensures the optimal operation of the biogas plant’s automation and control systems, contributing to the stability of the technological process and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of automation systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI) 
• Monitoring and optimization of process parameters (pressure, temperature, level, flow) 
• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of faults in automation systems 
• Configuration and adjustment of control and instrumentation equipment 
• Integration and verification of sensors and actuators in the plant 
• Analysis of alarms and optimization of control logic 
• Participation in preventive and corrective maintenance work 
• Participating in equipment commissioning and testing 
• Collaborating with electrical and mechanical teams on complex interventions 
• Analyzing SCADA data and proposing technical improvements 
• Preparing technical reports on interventions and system operation
• Coordinating the technical team. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (automation, electrical engineering, or related fields) 
• Experience in industrial automation 
• Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens) and SCADA 
• Experience working with sensors, actuators, and industrial instrumentation 
• Ability to perform technical analysis and troubleshooting 
• Practical mindset and problem-solving orientation

Constitutes an advantage:

• Experience in industrial plants / energy / biogas
• Knowledge of industrial networks (Modbus, Profibus, etc.)
• Experience in commissioning
• ANRE Level III B or IV certification
